Headband Holder – 5 Minute Project

Headband Holder – 5 Minute Project

My girls decided to give themselves haircuts this week.  My husband was watching them and said they were being so good… so quiet.  They walked out and showed him their new hair and he figured out why I always run to check on them screaming “it’s too quiet, what are they doing”.  He thinks me crazy no more.  Needless to say I made a trip to Target and stocked up on headbands and bows for my little hooligans.  I decided I need something to help me organize them or I’ll go insane. Here is what I did:

Untitled-1

Materials:

1. Paper Towel Roll

2. Hot Glue Gun

3. Old Sun Dress with a hole in it (or any fabric you have)

Cut the fabric to size.  I rolled the fabric around the paper towel roll and cut.  I eyed it because the rough ends will be glued down anyway.  No need to make it complicated.

Glue the fabric on.  Glue the sides into the tube.

I decided to use some leather string I had to finish it off.  Yarn or any type of string would work too.  I looped it through the tube and tied it together and put a glob of hot glue on it, then pulled the knot into the tube so it looks pretty.

Boom!  There it is.  It can stand up straight or on it’s side.  Easy project that takes less than 5 minutes!

XOXOXO,

Wendi
