Kick up Flavor with Infused Oils #whole30

Infused oil is such a great flavor booster for sautéing anything (especially fish) and I almost always use it when I roast or grill vegetables with sea salt. We like things a little spicy and this oil packs flavor with minimal effort. I get mine at HEB and I noticed there is a way to purchase it online through their website.  This is a time saver I love to keep on hand for when I need a quick side dish.

It’s pretty easy to make your own infused oil and requires minimal supervision.

To make your own chili garlic infused olive oil:

  1. Put good quality olive oil in a pan on very low heat
  2. Add chopped garlic
  3. Add red pepper flakes
  4. Keep it on low and let it go until it’s fragrant
  5. Let the oil cool completely
  6. Strain and store
